Howdy!
I am coming to Chicago (for the first time ever) from Austin, TX where I attend the University of Texas at Austin and work for the Visual Arts Center. Studying art museum education, I just finished my first year of graduate school. Originally I am from the Tidewater region of Virginia, and I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I worked for the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, which solidified my desire to work in an art museum as an educator.
Everything about art interests me, from looking to creating. I enjoy drawing and painting as well as working on larger collaborative projects. Having access to this collection daily is truly inspiring on a variety of levels, which has kept me creating while away from home.
